paix en centrafique7The conflict in the Central African Republic is at an alarming stage. According to UN agencies, one million people have displaced and already more than 1,000 were killed. Although it is evident that the conflict is neither ethnic nor religious in nature, the conflict dynamics seem to be quite complex. There have been reports that the diamond trade has fuelled the conflict. The recent employment of military troops from France and different African nations seem not able to disarm the various militias and it becomes more and more clear that a political settlement needs to be achieved to avoid more bloodshed and lead the CAR into a peaceful future.

Centrafrican artist in the diaspora decided to come together to produce a song in order to promote peace in their home country. It is great to see that artists use their voice for such a great cause. The track ‘Paix en Centrafrique‘ was coordinated by Prisca Miande, Radio Tongolo and popular Centrafrican chanteuse Laetitia Zonzambe.

  1. One School for Working Children includes a major community with regular classes and 4 satellite centers in or
very close to the slum in which the children dwell. It’s our
practical experience that this learning center
has to be very close to the children’s home.
Once the kids develop a habit of going to school every day,
they can also attend the 4-8th grade schooling in the primary center, which may be one or two km away from their home.
One reason for our success in this program is the dedication of staff who daily
visit the families, meet the parents and solve their problems such as health issues, arranging proper documents for enrolling
the kid in the government schools etc.

The staff positively attempt to make AWC successful for children by mobilizing the kids,
their parents, the local school teachers and the authorities to
join hands to make a much better future for the kids.

The teachers at AWC educate the kids, organize cleaning actions within the slums, arrange activities in the neighborhood and concentrate on every single child.

    Humana People to People organizations
Humana People to People agencies also mobilise financing for
development tasks through transnational organizations, governments, foundations, UN agencies and private bestower
in Europe, North America and Asia. The relationships provided genuine, distributed interests in creating development for people via one or more of the Humana People to People concepts.

Networking of Humana People to People organizations across continents provides a directly as
well as meaningful relationship between people in these different parts of the world.

Humana People to People has developed a specific version
In Africa, Humana People to People has evolved a specific model for such poor kids called Children’s Town. They are boarding schools with a full-time program, where children live and get
classes of academic and practical life abilities . The children have counseling access to
encourage them to conquer difficulties out of the past; with the intention of enabling the kids lead a safe productive life in the future.
Schools for children are arranged about basic education, constructive discipline
as well as state administered examinations. As a general
element of the different schools they often find aims such as the development of each child to be an active
element of and a participant of the national endeavor for the better future.
